A dog needs more than 30 essential nutrients to stay healthy and in good shape, and "providing while balancing" the correct amounts of all of these nutrients can be very tricky. That is why many experts believe that dogs are better off with some of the kibble brands than prepared fresh food at home without supervision. They believe kibbles might be incomplete and not well-balanced, but they are more balanced than most unsupervised self-prepared foods. Without the right amount and ratios of these nutrients, puppies could develop skeletal problems; pregnant dogs can face serious health problems after delivering their puppies. Adult dogs can face severe skeletal issues, especially when they become seniors.

Yes! Since the food is fresh, you should store it at the right temperature. The fridge or freezer are both acceptable.

We will always send a feeding guide with your order. Each package usually holds one day's worth of your pup's food. You can follow your regular feeding schedule for the day! We feed Cola 3 times a day, so we divide his package into three portions for him.

Although there are other fresh food providers in the market, all are still using what we call the bulk feeding strategy. They may ask you questions about age, weight, breed, etc. But at the heart of it, they have set recipes. They just increase or decrease the amount to feed based on your answers. That is why they have to add certain synthetic nutrients to their food as nutritional balancers to ensure the dogs will not face deficiency for certain nutrients. They usually call these fancy names such as "nutrient mix" or "nutritional additives." This mixture is added to your dog's meal to cover additional nutritional needs missed when using the bulk feeding strategy.

Our AI formulates a fully customized recipe using these ingredient sets. The concentration of each ingredient in an ingredient set changes from one dog to another based on each dog's individual characteristics and their unique conditions.

Our AI formulates each diet so that all the nutrients, including vitamins and minerals, are supplied from natural sources. Therefore we do not need to add synthetic vitamins or minerals to our food. The best comparison example is buying a suit off the rack vs a tailor-made suit. You will most probably have to hem an off the rack suit. Fortunately, wearing an off the rack suit does not have any health repercussions, sadly the old method of developing and bulk feeding dogs do.

Our food stays fresh for 60 days in the freezer. We recommend that you only move two packs at a time to your fridge. Once thawed, we recommend that your pup consumes it within 1-2 days.
