Fresh Food for Alaskan Malamutes

Alaskan Malamutes are large, muscular dogs with a thick, dense coat that comes in shades of gray, black, and sable. These dogs were originally bred for pulling sleds and working on farms in Alaska, and they are known for their intelligence, strength, and endurance. Alaskan Malamutes are independent and confident, and they require consistent training and socialization to prevent them from becoming overly dominant. They are highly trainable and excel in a variety of activities, including obedience, tracking, and draft work. Alaskan Malamutes are energetic and require regular exercise, and they are not well-suited for apartment living.

Joint Protection

Alaskan Malamutes are prone to joint problems, and maintaining a healthy weight can help alleviate these issues. Fresh food, such as that provided by Cola's Kitchen, can be particularly beneficial as it contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which have been shown to reduce inflammation and improve arthritis. In contrast, kibble that contains these healthy fats may become rancid if it sits on the shelf for extended periods of time, reducing or eliminating their beneficial effects and potentially contributing to inflammation. By feeding your Alaskan Malamute fresh food, you can ensure that they receive these important nutrients in their most effective form.

Reduce inflammation (and their odds of cancer)

While there is no guarantee of preventing cancer, there are steps you can take to improve your Alaskan Malamute's chances of living a healthy life. Maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding heavily processed foods that may contain harmful preservatives and carcinogens, and feeding them a fresh diet that helps reduce inflammation can all be beneficial. Fresh diets, in particular, can provide dietary antioxidants, such as those found in vegetables, which have been shown to lower the risk of cancer. Processed kibble and canned food, on the other hand, cannot provide the same benefits as a fresh diet that includes whole vegetables for your Alaskan Malamute.

Know what’s in the bowl

Alaskan Malamutes with dry and itchy skin, sensitive stomachs, or other signs of food allergies and sensitivities may benefit from being aware of exactly what they are being fed. Kibble can be a challenge in this regard, as it often includes unidentified ingredients that may be causing problems. Many dog owners have noticed improvements in their pets' symptoms when they switch to fresh food, as food allergies and intolerances are quite common. Consider trying fresh food to see if it helps your Alaskan Malamute.

Dental Health & Fresh Breath

Alaskan Malamutes may be prone to dental disease, and relying on dried pellets or kibble to clean their teeth may not be effective. Kibble is highly processed and can stick to teeth, leading to plaque buildup. It may also contain ingredients that contribute to inflammation in the body, including in the mouth. On the other hand, a fresh, whole-food diet supports overall health and a stronger immune system, which can help prevent dental infections and won't stick to teeth. When it comes to dental health, it's important to focus on overall health as well

"I AM A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE"

I have two dogs, one of which eats  everything in sight and the other who is the worlds most pickiest eater. she  sits there smells her food and literally walks away if it’s not to her standards.  But with Cola’s Kitchen that has gone.. she is now the first one by her food  bowl and eats everything on her plate.. I am a customer for life. I feel well  knowing my babies are getting the nutrients they need and the correct  portions. Thank you so much for making such quality food for our fur babies.

"TAKE THE CHANCE, YOU WON’T REGRET IT"

Zeus was diagnosed with diabetes at age  1 and I was devastated, it broke my heart. After trial of different foods  from kibble to wet, to freeze dried and let’s not talk about raw where I  almost lost him to a massive gut infection, I found Cola’s Kitchen who  literally saved me and Zeus! The food is personalized and portioned &  Zeus loves their recipes. I can not say enough about this company. Take the  chance, you won’t regret it!

"OBSESSED WITH COLA’S KITCHEN"

Our 1 year old Saint Bernard has tons of food allergies (including chicken) and is a picky eater. We went through months and months of trying different kibbles and wet food to no avail - he didn’t like anything and frequently had an upset stomach. Now he is OBSESSED with food from Cola’s Kitchen!! He devours the food (which we mix with limited ingredient kibble because he eats so much). He is so happy and healthy. We noticed a huge difference in his energy, his coat is full and shiny, he gained weight, and his stool is perfect for the first time in a year. On top of that, the owners and staff at Cola’s Kitchen are thoughtful, considerate and incredibly helpful. They give a true personal touch for all of their customers. I cannot praise them enough, they changed our lives!

"ABBY’S COAT IS MUCH SOFTER"

Abby has been on Cola’s Kitchen Fresh Dog Food for about 4 months now. I’ve noticed that her coat is much softer and she is not scratching as she did in the past! The website is easy to navigate and edit the food choices before the next delivery. Updates on food delivery are great!
